Black Bean Garlic Hummus

Ingredients
- 1 can of black beans (drain & reserve liquid)- 1 can of garbanzo beans (drained)- 2 cloves garlic- 2 Tblspn lemon juice- 1 and 1/2 Tblspn tahini (sesame paste- you can find it in your grocery store, usually with the international items)- 3/4 tsp cumin- 1/2 tsp salt- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper- 1/4 tsp paprika
Directions
Mince the garlic in a food processor (or a blender). Add the black beans and garbanzo beans and 2 Tblspn of the reserve liquid. Add the lemon juice, tahini, spices and salt and process until smooth- scraping down the sides as needed. Add additional seasoning and liquid to taste. Garnish with greek olives. I like to eat with carrots or whole wheat pita bread.
