4 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour 2 cups butter1 1/2 cups brown sugar1/2 cup granulated sugar4 large eggs2 tsp baking soda3 cups dry Oatmeal (or less to taste - dough should still be moist not dry after adding oats)2 boxes instant vanilla pudding mix1 package Dark Chocolate Chips1 tbsp cinnamon (if desired)Can add nuts as well to taste.
Directions
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2) Sift together the flour and baking soda and cinnamon, set aside.
3) In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar.
4) Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs.
5) Blend in the flour mixture.
6) Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and oats.
7) Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
4) Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
Serving Size: Makes approx 4 dozen large cookies.
