0.5 cups all purpose flour0.75 cup sugar1.5 tsp baking soda1.5 tsp salt0.5 cups cornmeal1 cup all purpose flour0.75 cup molasses1 large egg, lightly beaten2 cups skim milk8 tbs Shedd Spread margarine1 tsp vanilla
Makes 2 loaves, 16 slices each.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray two 9x5 loaf pans.
Sift together 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir in cornmeal and wheat flour. Stir in remaining ingredients until all flour is moistened. Pour into pans. Bake for 1 hour.
Remove bread from pans and cool.
Slice. I freeze one loaf.
