Chewy Chocolate Pecan Cookies

2 C almond meal or blanched almond flour2 T cocoa powder1/4 t sea salt1/4 t baking soda1/2 C pecans (or walnuts)4 T unsalted butter1/2 C agave nectar2 t vanilla (or 1 t @ vanilla, almond extract)1 t ground cinnamon (opt.)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Chop nuts. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add in the wet ingredients. Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper or a non-stick mat. Place small balls of cookie dough about an inch apart on the cookie sheet. Press them down with a fork like you would for peanut butter cookies. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
