Vital Wheat Gluten, 1 cupSalt - Iodized Sea Salt, 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper, 0.25 tsp Fennel seed, 2 tsp (remove)Nutritional Yeast Flakes, 3 tbsp (B12 fortified!!!)Dried Oregano, 1 tspGarlic powder, 1 tspOlive Oil , 1 tbspWater, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
Add dry ingredients to the food processor. Pulse quickly once or twice to mix. Add olive oil. Slowly add water until a nice, chunky dough forms. Form into 24 bite-sized pieces and sort of bunch the bites up tightly. Simmer in sauce for 30 minutes. Remove from sauce, and saute in a LITTLE olive oil for about ten minutes. Serve with pasta, or on bread as a sausage sandwich.
