Egg and dairy free chocolate cake

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour• 1 cup white sugar• 1/2 cup cocoa powder• 1 teaspoon baking soda• 1/2 teaspoon salt• 1/3 cup olive oil• 2 teaspoon vanilla extract• 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar (or lemon juice)• 1 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease one 9x9 inch round cake pan.
Sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add the oil, vanilla, vinegar and water. Mix together until it changes to a lighter color of brown.
Pour into greased pan and bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
