Slider Salmon Burger

Ingredients
8 ounces caned salmon 1/4 cup red onion, diced 1 teaspoon chives, chopped 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard 1 garlic clove, minced 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 egg yolk 2 teaspoons capers, chopped 4 whole-wheat hamburger buns 4 pieces romaine lettuce 4 slices tomato
Directions
Mix salmon and all ingredients (onion, chives, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper, egg and capers) together in a bowl and mix gently. Shape into appropriate portion-size burgers and chill until ready to serve. Sear burgers in a hot pan sprayed with cooking spray until browned. Place between whole-wheat buns with lettuce and tomato and the condiments of your choice. Salt and pepper to taste
