Banana Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients
3 mashed ripe Bananas1/3 cup Applesauce2 cups Quick Oats1/4 cup skim Milk1/2 cup Raisins1 tsp Vanilla1 tsp Cinnamon1/4 tsp Almond Extract
Directions
mash bananas with fork if needed
assemble all ingredients and beat with rotary beater until combined.
Spread into baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes @ 350, cut into 8 squares

    Very moist. I added 2 fake eggs (2 Tablespoons gelatin), additional 1/4 cup milk, and 3 Tablespoons of dextrose (to sweeten). I baked for 45 minutes (at high altitude location). Take out when edges are brown. Great recipe! Will try some more variations. Good alternative to drier, chewier bars. - 10/23/15
