sue's white clam sauce

Ingredients
1/4 cup olive oil2 garlic cloves4 tsps flour (as needed)2 cans minced clams, reserve juice1 can whole baby clams, reserve juice1/3 cup white winered pepper flakes as desired1/4 cup chopped parsleylittle bit of lemon zest
Directions
Heat oil. Add garlic and shallot, saute till soft. Stir in flour. Add reserved clam juice, wine, lemon zest, red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 mins. Add clams and parsley. Keep simmering. Cook linguini, drain and pour sauce over. Top with more parsley. Serve with parmesan. (Not Italian to have parmesan with seafood but tastes good.)
