Ingredients:2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar1 Tbsp. Olive Oil, Extra Virgin6 cloves raw garlic, minced1 cup red onion, chopped2 Tbsp. dried basil1 tsp. black pepper1/4 tsp. dried chipote or cayenne pepper1 (28 oz. can) Crushed Tomatoes (no salt added)1 (28 oz. can) Tomato Sauce1 (6 oz.) can Tomato Paste3/4 cup chopped carrots1 pkg.McCormick Thick & Zesty Spaghetti Sauce Mix
Heat olive oil in large saucepan. Cook chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped carrots on stove over medium heat for 5-10 minutes, or until soft.
Add the rest of the ingredients, plus 1 cup water & stir well.
Bring to a boil, then turn down to low to simmer for 30 minutes. Stir occassionally. Add water if needed.
Serve over whole wheat pasta
