Irish Lamb Stew

Ingredients
1 LB Cubed Lamb3 TBS White All-Purpose Flour3 TBS Margarine2 Medium Turnips1 Cup Diced Celery1 Small Onion18 Cups Water or Water and Low Sodium broth (broth will increase the calorie count)1 Small Bag medium Baby Carrots8 Large Potatoes2 TBS Garlic powder1 TBS Ground Thyme2 TBS Ground Sage1 Bay Leaf2 tsp Ground Ginger2 tsp Ground Cloves1 TBS Ground Basil1 TBS Ground Oregano1 TBS White Pepper1 TBS Mint FlakesSalt to flavor
Directions
In a large dutch oven, sear the lamb till no pink is showing. Remove meat from pan and melt butter or margarine, then add in the flour and reduce heat. Stir constantly for about 2 minutes then slowly add the water till a thick slurry is acheived. Add in the meat and the remaining water, the herbs and spices and the vegetables. Bring to a rolling boil, cover and let simmer for about an hour until the vegetables are nice and tender. Check the spices and adjust to your liking.

Serve with Irish Soda Bread on the side.
