Really good! I never would have thought to bake an apple in the microwave. 2 TBS of Splenda seemed like a lot though, I only used about 2 tsp. - 3/1/10

Went ahead and just used a pinch of regular sugar vs. Splenda. Just a pinch. The apples are sweet enough! And didn't need the orange juice either. - 5/14/17

I used a similar recipe long ago, but used lemon instead of orange juice. Both ways are awesome. I topped mine with 1 Tbs. grapenut cereal, or with sunflower seeds. - 12/25/14

I did a few changes. I used sugar instead of Splenda (don't like the aftertaste) and nutmeg, but I made sure not to use too much of either. Worked well, tasted great. Good dessert. I may try it with ginger next time. - 9/30/13

I made this for dessert tonight and it was delicious with a scoop of lowfat ice cream on top! The only change I made was I substituted liquid butter buds for the OJ...I will definitely be making this one again! - 1/17/08

This recipe rocks! I was craving something sweet and cinnamon-y tonight when I remembered the apples in the fridge and this recipe. I made it and it was great! It smells awesome, and the orange juice and cinnamon makes a nice sauce. This doesn't feel like a 100-cal dessert! - 1/9/08
