Lentils Soups

Ingredients

3 Cups lentils1 Tbsp ground coriander seed2 Tbsp green coriander6 cloves garlic1 Tsp red pepper2 cups tomato sauce2 Tbsp butter
1. Boil the lentils in water for until it is fully cooked about 30 minutes.
2. Melt the butter in a sauce pan and add the garlic, stir until golden.
3. Add the green coriander and the dried coriander stir for 2-3 minutes
4. Add the tomato sauce and the red pepper stir .
5. Stir every few minutes add some water if it is too dry.
6. Drain the cooked lentils and keep the water
7. Add the lentils to the sauce
8. Keep it over low heat and mix
9. Add about 1 cup of the lentil water to the mixture of the cooked sauce and cooked lentils
10. Use the blender to mix them and add more water if it is needed, it depends on your prefered soup thickness
