Ginger snaps

Ingredients
2.5 cups flour1.5 cups butter1.25 cups brown sugar1 tsp baking soda.5 tsp salt2 tsp ginger (ground)1 tsp cloves1 tsp allspice1 tsp black pepper1 large egg.25 cup molasses
Directions
Mix wet ingredients in mixer (butter, sugar, egg, molasses). Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl (flour, spices, baking soda, salt). Gradually add dry ingredients to butter/sugar mixture. Roll dough in balls about 1' in diameter, then roll balls in white sugar. Place on baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes at 375 F.

Serving Size: Makes about 3.5 dozen small cookies
