Vegetarian Shepard's Pie

Ingredients
Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced Garlic, 3 cloves Broccoli, fresh, 1 cup, chopped Peas, fresh, 1 cup Sweet Corn, Fresh, 1 cup *Potato, raw, 7 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Morningstar Farms Breakfast Patties, 8 patty Wheat germ, crude, .75 cup Butter, unsalted, 3 tbsp Milk, 3.25%, .5 cup
Directions
-make mashed potatoes (reserve ~1/2c water)
-chop and broil patties for a few minutes
-sauté onions, carrots, celery and garlic until a little soft
-add broccoli, peas and corn
-add some mashed potatoes to potato water and add that to veggie mix to thicken up a bit
-lightly spray bottom of pan w/ olive oil and cover with generous amount of raw wheat germ
-put veggie mixture in pan
-put mashed potatoes on top
-sprinkle lightly w/ cheese

cook in oven until warm and top starts to get a bit brown
