Chicken & Dumplings with Bisquick

Ingredients
Simmer together, until chicken is done and broth is rich:18 oz (2, fresh) half-breasts chicken3 carrots, washed & broken into 3 pieces each2 stalks celery washed & broken into 3 pieces each1 large onion, halved2 teaspoons peppercorns3 teaspoons whole cloves2-3 bay leaves1 Tablespoon saltRemove breasts. Strain broth into clean pot. (Discard vegetables and flavorings solids.)Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Return to broth over medium heat. Add:1 cup green beans, cut into 1" pieces3 carrots, peeled and cut into thin coins1 stalk celery, washed and dicedSimmer until carrots are cooked.Mix to make soft dough:3 cups Bisquick1 cup milk
Directions
Drop 1/2 dough, by big tablespoons, onto simmering soup. (Makes about 6.) Simmer 10 minutes. Cover. Simmer 10 minutes more.
Dumplings will have puffed and cooked through. Remove 1st 6 dumplings and repeat the process with remaining dough.
