Baked Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients
1 Spaghetti Squash, halved2 tbsp molasses, divided2 tbsp butter, divided1 tsp cinnamon, divided
Directions
cut the squash in half, remove seeds. Fill each half with butter, molasses and cinnamon. Place in a 350 degree oven for approx. 1 hr, or until tender. Remove from oven and let cool. When the squash is cool enough to handle, use a fork to remove the meat of the squash.

    I love Spaghetti Squash but I've always microwaved it. I really liked the idea of cutting it in half and removing the seeds first, then baking. It tasted so much better. I have a savory palate not a sweet one; so I didn't use the molasses and cinnamon. Instead I used garlic and Thai spices. - 2/2/10

    Not as flavorful as I expected. Also, I think the crunchy texture of the squash is a negative factor for me. Might be better with acorn squash. - 3/2/08
