Ingredients
2.5 pounds raw country style pork ribs1/4 C. favorite BBQ sauce (I like a smoky-sweet variety such as Kraft Original or KC Masterpiece.)FoilBroiling pan or roasting pan with rack.Marinade:Juice of one orange, approximately 3 - 4 Tbsp. (If you don't have orange juice can substitute apple cider vinegar.)3 fresh cloves of garlic, smashed (not chopped)1 tsp. coarse kosher saltRub:3 tsp. brown sugar1 tsp. onion powder1 tsp. coarse kosher salt1 tsp. garlic powder1 tsp. chili powder1 tsp. ground coriander1 tsp. black pepper
Directions
Marinate ribs in orange juice, salt and garlic, covered in fridge for at least one hour or overnight.

Mix together rub ingredients in small bowl, cover.

Prepare pan. If using broiler pan, lightly grease. If using roasting rack, place sheet of foil on rack and poke holes in foil to allow fat to drip off. Country style ribs fall apart easily so a typical rack is too wide to support meat.

Discard garlic cloves. Rub the prepared rub all over the ribs. Then place ribs meat side up on rack. Pour water in bottom of roasting pan - about 1/2 inch up side. Then tightly cover ribs and pan in foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours.

Uncover ribs and baste them with barbecue sauce. Cook uncovered an additional 30 minutes. Serve.
