Beef and Barley Stew

Ingredients
1.5 Lbs beef strips1 cup pot or pearl barley2 cups carrots3 cups broth (or more if you would like a soup)1 medium onion, choppedHerbs and spices (thyme, basil, oregano, pepper, salt)
Directions
Brown beef, pour into slow cooker. Add all ingredients, season as desired, salt, oregano, thyme, basil, pepper. Cook on low for 6 hours. Add barley, cook for 1 more hour.
