Betty Crocker Snickerdoodles, whole wheat flour

1/2 cup unsalted butter1/2 cup shortening1 1/2 cup granulated sugar2 large eggs2 cups unbleached enriched flour3/4 cup whole wheat flour2 tsp cream of tartar1 tsp baking soda1/4/ tsp salt2 Tbsp sugar2 tsp cannamon
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix thoroughly butter, shortening, 1.5 cups sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough by teaspoonfuls into balls. Mix 2 Tbsp sugar and the cinnamon; roll balls in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 7-10 minutes or until set (I use 7 min on light metal pan). Immediately remove from baking sheet.
