1 MEDIUM HEAD OF CABBAGE, SHREDDED4 BONELESS, SKINLESS CHICKEN BREASTS CUBED1 LARGE ONION DICED1 CUP CELERY SLICED10 CUPS WATER10 TEASPOON DRY CHICKEN CONSOMME2 CUPS HOMEMADE CHICKEN STOCK2 TBLS BASIL2 TBLS OREGANO3 GARLIC CLOVES4 TSP HOT PEPPER SAUCE (ADJUST TO TASTE)
Directions
SLICE, DICE, CUBE AND COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS IN CROCKPOT. COOK ON LOW FOR 8-10 HOURS. SERVE WITH FRESH WHOLE GRAIN BREAD.

    I thought this soup was all right. I read the other reviews and figured I'd go ahead and make a huge pot even though I only cook for one. Now I've got more of it than I want. It is palatable; I will eat the rest. But the spice is about the only flavor it has. It needs something else.... - 11/24/09
