Chocolate Banana Applesauce Cake

2 very ripe bananas1/2 cup granulated sugar1/4 cup brown sugar1/2 cup applesauce (no sugar added)1/3 cup water1 tsp white vinegar1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour1/4 cup unsweetened baking cocoa1 tsp baking soda1/4 tsp salt2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.Spray 8x8 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
3.Mash bananas in a medium size bowl.
4.Stir in sugars, applesauce, water, and vinegar until thoroughly combined.
5.Stir in flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt just until combined.
6.Fold in 1/3 cup of chocolate chips.
7.Pour batter into prepared dish.
8.Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
9.Bake for 33-37 minutes or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
10.Let cool, slice and serve.
