1 medium head cabbage, sliced2 medium onions, sliced2 cloves garlic, minced8 bacon slices, chopped1 tsp salt1/2 tsp pepperpinch crushed red pepper
Pan fry bacon in 12 inch skillet until almost cooked. Remove bacon from skillet but leave drippings. Saute onions with medium heat in bacon drippings until tender, add cabbage and garlic. Cover with lid and cook for 30 minutes, stirring often. When cabbage is tender, add seasonings. Return lid and cook for 10 minutes more. Season additionally as desired.
