parmeasan and garlic pita chips

Ingredients
1 1/2 whole wheat pita pockets(I use kangaroo brand because they are high in fiber)cooking spray1 tsp garlic powder1 tbs. parmeasan cheese, gratedsea salt to taste
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut each pita into into 1/2 and then cut each 1/2 into 6 equal pieces. Place on cookie sheet. Spray pitas with cooking spray. Sprinkle garlic powder and cheese on pitas and toss to coat evenly. Add salt to taste.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until crispy. Store in airtight container. Makes 3 servings, 6 chips each.

    Excellent. I used Joseph's pita bread the pita is only 60 calories for the entire pita.Forgot the parm cheese and it was great with just a combo of garlic powder and garlic salt. Next time I used the Joseph's Lavish bread. Only 100 calories for the entire sheet. Will try other herbs combo Thanks - 9/22/13

    Delicious! Mine were a bit soft. I didn't want to overcook them, though. I might throw them back in the oven to make them more crunchy. Next time I may experiment with a different flavor too! - 9/25/08
