Indian Chicken Curry

Ingredients
1 lb chicken1 c crushed tomatoes1/2 c greek yogurt (room temp)3/4 c diced onions1 tbsp. minced garlic3/4 tsp minced fresh ginger2 mixed chile peppers sliced finely1/4 c warm water1 tsp salt1 tbsp. water1 tbsp. cilantro1/2 tbsp. curry1/2 tsp of each: cumin cayenne turmeric coriander garam masala1/2 tbsp. lemon juice
Directions
cut chicken into 1 inch pieces and salt. sprak pan with olive oil and brown, once browned on all sides, remove onto a plate.

sauté onion, garlic, and ginger about8 mins unitl onion is translucent. add pepper. stir in the cumin, curry powder, turmeric, coriander, cayenne and 1 tbsp. water into onion mixture and allow to heat together 1 min. mix tomatoes, yogurt, 1/2 tsp salt and half the cilantro into the mixture. return the chicken to the pan along with any juices. add the 1/4 c water and bring to a boil, mixing chicken to coat. sprinkle garam masala and the rest of the cilantro onto the chicken.
cover and simmer until chicken is cooked through. sprinkle with lemon juice and serve.
