1 can cut beets, drained (reserve liquid)2/3 cup reserved beet liquid1/4 cup cidar vinegar1 Tbsp cornstarch1 tsp Splenda (or to taste)
Drain beets, reserving 2/3 cup liquid.
Mix beet liquid, vinegar and cornstarch in saucepan. Stir to dissolve.
Heat, stirring constantly until thickened
Add sweetener to taste.
Add beets and heat throughly
