Fried Cabbage With Smoked Sausage

Ingredients
1 stick of butter1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped1 small yellow onion, chopped1 pound smoked sausage, sliced1 can Rotel tomatoes, drained1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Melt butter in a large skillet or Dutch oven. Add cabbage and onion. Cook on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
