Yummy Green Smoothie

Ingredients
2 good handfuls chopped romaine lettuce (or 5 leaves)1 banana, frozen1 cup fresh chopped pineapple1 cup water (as needed)
Directions
In a blender, whirl the lettuce with a little water. Continue blending until there are no pieces of the leaves left. Add in the banana and blend until smooth, then do the same with the pineapple. Add enough water to reach a consistency you like.

    thisi was okay...i could taste the lettuce maybe i used too much? but i substituted the pineapple with some orange and that was good. i probably wont make it again though im more into the fruitier sweeter smoothies. - 4/18/08
