Bacon, Beans & Beer Chili

Ingredients
6 slices Bacon, cut in 1/2" piecesChili powder, 1.5 tsp Cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened, 1 tbsp*paprika, smoked, 3 tsp *Dried Oregano, 2 tsp Brown Sugar, 4.5 tsp packed Onions, raw, 1 large choppedJarred Jalapeno Peppers, 2tbs dicedGarlic, 4 clove minced80/20 ground beef chuck, 2.36lbsAmber Beer, 6 oz 12 oz can Beans, drainedNatural Directions diced tomatoes, 15 oz can drainedOptional not included in calories, Juice of 1 lime Chopped fresh cilantro Sour creamAll added just before serving
Directions
Heat pan on med low heat, sautéed bacon about 3 minutes until fat is rendered and just starting to brown. Add spices and sautéed 3 minutes more stirring constantly. Add onions, garlic and jalapeños and sauté 3 more minutes. Add ground beef and sauté 5 minutes. Add beer, tomatoes and beans. Bring to simmer then reduce heat to low and cook 15-30 minutes stirring occasionally . Just before serving stir in lime juice and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with sour cream or shredded cheese.
