Ingredients:Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)*sweet yellow onion, raw (1 medium onion), .5 serving (remove)Ground bison (buffalo), 12 serving ( 3 oz ) (remove)Beef Broth - Swanson Low Sodium, 2 cup (remove)RICE - Dynasty Jasmine Rice 1/2 cup cooked, 8 serving (remove)*McCormick Perfect Pinch Cajun Seasoning, 4 tsp (remove)*Creole Seasoning, Tony Chachere's, 4 tsp (remove)
SWEAT THE ONIONS AND CELERY 5 TO 7 MINUTES. ADD MEAT, .25 CUP OF BEEF BROTH AND SEASONING AND BROWN ON MEDIUM HEAT FOR APPROXIMATELY 15 MINUTES. SET MEAT/VEGGIE ASIDE TO COOL SO IT CAN BE PUT IN A SEALABLE BOWL, REFRIDGERATED OVERNIGHT AND TAKEN TO POT LUCK THE NEXT DAY. ONE HOUR BEFORE THE EVENT PUT THE RICE AND REMAINING BEEF BROTH IN THE RICE COOKER. ADDED THE MEAT ON TOP. COOKED ON THE WHITE RICE SETTING. WHEN RICE FINISHED (APPROX 40 - 45 MINUTES) STIRRED THE MEAT AND RICE AND PUT RICE COOKER INTO SLOW COOKER MODE/KEEP WARM.
