Directions
Fresh organic low carb vegetables with herbs (your choice) and spices that are filling, tasty and high in fiber. Tumeric, ginger, garlic and lemon and touted to be cleansing to the kidneys. Imagine Organic Vegetable Broth, 6 cup Cabbage, fresh, 0.5 head, medium (about 5-3/4" dia) Celery, raw, 2 cup, dicedMushrooms, fresh, 3 cup, pieces or slices Tomatoes, red, ripe, canned, whole, no salt added, 2 can Onions, raw, 1.5 cup, chopped Garlic, 4 clove Spinach, fresh, 0.5 package (10 oz) Ginger Root, 3 tsp ground tumeric, 2 tsp Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp Lemon Juice, 0.5 lemon yields
Saute onions and garlic with herbs and spices in olive oil until soft. Add other vegetables in any order that you like although I add the spinach at the end of the simmer time. Add canned tomatoes and stock. Simmer until your desired softness.
