Oriental Cole Slaw

Ingredients
Dressing2 tablespoons oil2 tablespoons sugar3 tablespoons light soy sauce1 tablespoon rice vinegar1 clove garlic, minced1⁄2 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced2 tablespoons toasted sesame seedsSlaw1 package cole slaw mix3 scallions, thinly sliced1⁄2 small red onion, thinly sliced
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine the oil, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic and ginger. Cook for several minutes over medium heat, stirring continuously, until sugar has dissolved, about 2 minutes. Allow to cool and then add the sesame seeds and mix well. In a large salad bowl, combine all ingredients.
