8 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) Potato, raw 2 tsp Salt .25 tsp Garlic powder 4 tsp Pepper, black .5 stick Butter, unsalted 2.25 serving Milk Reduced Fat Milk 2% Great Value ( 1 cup serving) 0.125 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and had butter. Cover until butter melts. Use hand mixer to mash potatoes. Add 1 tsp slat, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and 2 tsp black pepper. Add 1/4 C milk and mix until desired consistency is reached.
In a skillet, heat flour with a tiny bit of oil. Add 2 C milk, 1 tsp salt and 2 tsp pepper. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Summer until desired consistency reached (continue stirring).
Serving Size: 8 1/2 c servings of potatoes, 1/4 C gravy
