SHORTBREAD COOKIES

Ingredients
.5 cup Corn Starch .5 cup, unsifted Powdered Sugar 1 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour .75 cup Butter, salted
Directions
Sift together cornstarch, sugar and flour. With spoon blend in the softened butter. Chill dough for 30-60 minutes. Shape into balls and place 2" apart on un-greased cookie sheet. Flatten with bottom of a glass that has shortening or butter on it and dipped in sugar. Bake at 300* for 15 - 20 minutes or until edges are slightly brown. Cool on a wire rack. You can decorate with candied cherries, nuts or colored sprinkles before baking.
