Sweet potato fennel soup

Ingredients
1 tsp Cardamom, ground 0.50 tsp Thyme, ground 2 cup, chopped Carrots, raw 0.50 cup, chopped Onions, raw 2 cup, cubes Sweet potato 1 cup, sliced Fennel 0.25 tsp Cloves, ground 4 cup Swanson vegatable broth (by SHAMOO1952) 4 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap .5 tsp Cinnamon, ground
Directions
Add onion and fennel to pan sprayed with cooking spray or use several teaspoons olive oil.
Sauté until starting to caramelize.
Add spices and stir until aromatic.
Add all ingredients to pot, add water or chicken stock.
Simmer at leas an hour or until potatoes are soft.
Remove half of vegetables from pan, blend until creamy and add back into soup.
All the soup can be blended.
