8 tbsp Argo Cornstarch 8 tbsp, unsifted Powdered Sugar 1 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour 1 cup Butter, salted
Sift together (1/2 cup) cornstarch, (1/2 cup) sugar and (1 cup) flour. Blend in (2 sticks) softened butter by hand or with dough whisk on your mixer until a soft, smooth dough forms. Chill for a half hour. Preheat oven to 300*. Make 1 -1 1/2" balls, roll in sugar and put on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten the cookies a bit. Make an indent in the center and add a pecan or fruit jelly or colored sprinkles or more sugar granules. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes until edges are brown. Cool on a wire rack.
