Fried Apples (like Cracker Barrel)

Ingredients
4 ea.--------------- Granny smith apples8 packets-------- Splenda 2 tsp.--------------Butter, salted 8 oz--------------- Apple Juice 1/4 tsp----------- Salt 1 Tbsp----------- Corn Starch 1 Tbsp------------Ground Cinnamon
Directions
Peel, core and cut the apples in half. Then slice in 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices. Melt butter in a skillet on med-high heat until butter is melted and covers the bottom of the pan. And prepared apples to pan and stir frequently until they are just beginning to soften on the outside, about 5 minutes. Add 1/2 of the apple juice and reduce heat to medium. Continue stirring for another 2 minutes. Add cinnamon and salt. Stir to incorporate. Mix cornstarch with remaining apple juice and add to pan with apples. Continue to cook for another minute or so.
