2 tsp olive oil1/2 cup chopped onions20 mushrooms1 tsp ground sage3 cloves of garlic1 tsp dried oregano1 tsp parsley1 tsp garlic powder2 tsp brown sugar 1 tsp black pepper28 oz can crushed tomatoes2 tbsp tomato paste2 tbsp balsamic vinegar2 low fat chicken and turkey sausage links1 500 g pkg Potato Gnocchi1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over med-high heat.Add onions,mushrooms, sage, garlic, and oregano; saute 4 min.Add Sugar, pepper and diced tomatoes, and reduce heat to med.Cook sauce 10 min, stirring occasionally.
2.Cook gnocchi according to package directions, omitting salt.Divide gnocchi evenly among 4 bowls; top each with 3/4 cup sauce and 1 tsp cheese.
