Crunchy Whole Grain Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
.25 cup Butter, unsalted 8 tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil 0.40 cup Granulated Sugar .75 cup, unpacked Brown Sugar 1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup barley flour32 tbsp Chocolate, Nestle Real Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (16 oz)2 tsp vanilla3/4 tsp salt1/2 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp baking powder
Directions
preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease (or line with parchment) two baking sheets In a lg bowl, beat together the butter, oil, sugars, vanilla, and salt til smooth. Beat in the vinegar, egg, baking soda, and baking powder. Stir in the barley flour and whole wheat flour, then the choc chips. The dough will appear oily, and because of the quantity of chocolate chips, it won't be completely cohesive, that's ok.
Drop the dough, by tablespoonfulls, onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 15 to 17 min. until the cookies are an even golden brown. Remove from the oven, and allow to cool for 5 min. before transferring to a rack to cool completely. Yield: 33 to 35 cookies.
