Nancy's Cabbage and Kielbasa Soup

Ingredients
2 tsp. canola oil1& 1/2 cups chopped onion1 & 1/2 cups chopped carrots1 beef keilbasa.. about 1 lb.. a coil in the sealed package2 cans black beans1 green pepper chopped2 tsp. of garlic beef stock , about 8 cups depending on how much juice you like..canned or homemade1 tbsp of sugar1 tsp black pepper4 cups shredded cabbage - I have used cabbage, bok choy and kale..all works the same
Directions
In a large pan , heat oil over medium heat.
Cook onions, carrots, potatoes and keilbasa till browned and the onions softens.
Pour into a large pot and add all other ingredients except cabbage, cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 m inutes. Add cabbage and simmer for another 20 minutes.
