Low Fat Banana Oatmeal Cookies

1/2 c. white sugar1/2 c. brown sugar1 c. fat free margarine2 egg whites1 tsp. vanilla2 c. flour1 tsp.baking soda1 tsp. ground cloves1 c. cinnamon3 ripe, mashed bananas2 c. rolled oats1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips1/8 tsp. salt
Serving size = 4 dozen cookies
1. Preheat oven at 375 F
2. Mix sugars, margarine, vanilla, and egg whites together
3. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon until becomes creamed mixture
4. Add mashed bananas, oats, and chocolate chips and mix until well blended
5. Place onto greased baking sheet using a rounded teaspoon, approx. 2" apart
6. Bake at 375 F for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown
**Alternatives: leave out chocolate chips for a lower calorie dessert; can also substitute chocolate chips with white chocolate chips, but this increases the calories (but very tasty).
