1 lb. Pork Sausage, fresh, bulk, cooked 3 cups (3 sm. cans) Tomato Sauce 1 can rotel original diced tomatoes & green chilies 3 cup (8 fl oz) Water 1 can Black Beans 1 can Pinto Beans 1 can Kidney Bean, low sodium 2 tsp Onion powder 2 tsp Garlic powder 1 tbsp Chili powder 1 tbsp Ground cumin 1 tbsp kosher salt
Brown Pork
Drain meat
(Optional: Rinse with hot water to remove up to 50% of the fat)
Add tomato sauce and canned tomatoes
Add spices and stir to distribute
Add water
Simmer for 10 minutes
Add drained, rinsed beans
Simmer for another 10 minutes
Let stand 10 minutes before serving to allow flavors to mingle
Serving Size: Makes 10 - 1.5 c servings
