Homemade white gravy

Ingredients
2 Tbsp Corn Starch1.0 dash Salt1.0 dash Pepper, black1.0 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap0.5 cup Dairy, Milk - Whole
Directions
Heat water to boiling in shallow pan. Stir corn starch, salt, and pepper into cold milk until corn starch is dissolved. Slowly stir in milk mixture to water. Stir continuously until begins to thicken. Continue to stir, but turn heat to low simmer. Once thickened, remove from heat.
