Pasta and Bean Bowl

Ingredients
1/2 cup green bell pepper (chopped)1/2 cup onion (chopped)1 tsp minced garlic2 tsp olice oil1 cup salsa3/4 cup uncooked whole wheat pasta (2oz)1 1/4 cup water2 teaspoons chili powder1/2 teaspoon ground cumin1 1/2 cup kidney beans, rinsed and drained1 cup tomato sauce1/2 cup shredded low fat cheddar cheese (2oz)
Directions
1. In 10-inch nonstick skillet, saute green peppers, onion, and garlic.
2. Add all ingredients except cheese and bring to a boil; reduce heat to low.
2. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring frequently until macaroni is tender.
3. Spoon into a bowl and sprinkle with cheese.
