Ingredients
Directions
1 1/2 cup Flour, white 1/2 tsp Baking Soda 1/3 cup Granulated Sugar 1 TBS Baking Powder1/2 tsp salt 6 tbsp Butter, cold 3/4 cup Milk, 3.25% 2 cups Concord grapes, halved and seeded
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare regular size muffin tin. I used paper liners and think it was the best way to do them for this recipe. Grapes get quite wet when cooking.
Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Cut in the cold butter til only very small pieces remain. Add milk and stir with spoon. Will be VERY thick. Then add in the grapes, this makes it much looser. Spoon into prepared pan, and bake for about 20 minutes. Check with toothpick or skewer to make sure batter is cooked.
