Low fat Lentil soup

Ingredients
2 cup lentils, great value dried 1 cup, chopped Onions, raw 4 medium Carrots, raw, chopped 2 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw chopped2 clove Garlic , minced24 oz V8 Vegetable Juice, Low Sodium 5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 1.5 cup, chopped Cabbage, fresh
Directions
1.cook lentils and carrots until carrots are soft (about 20 minutes)
2. add all other ingredients.
3. Simmer for about 30 minutes.
