Michael's Beanless Turkey Chili

2 tbsp. Olive Oil1.5 lbs. Ground Turkey1 tsp. Ground Cumin2.5 tsp. Chili Powder1 tsp. Garlic Powder1 tsp. Ground Pepper1 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes2 tsp. Honey1 Red Onion (diced)4 Jalapeno Peppers4 Plum Tomatoes15 oz. Tomato Sauce2 tsp. Hot Sauce.75 c Water (or Stout Beer).75 tsp. Cinnamon SugarShredded Cheddar Cheese (Optional)
1. Heat an extra-large skillet over high heat.
2. Add 2 Tbs. of Olive Oil. Allow to reach peak temperature (around 1-2 minutes).
3. While oil is heating, combine cumin, chili powder, garlic salt, ground pepper, crushed red pepper flakes.
4. Add turkey to skillet. Season with dry seasoning combination. Continue searing and browning the meat while crumbling it with a spoon for 3-5 minutes.
5. Add honey. Stir through.
6. Reduce heat to medium-high. Add onion, jalepeno peppers, and tomatoes. Stir through.
7. Add water (or beer). Continuing to stir.
8. Continue to cook for 5 minutes. Add hot sauce. Stir through. Add habenero pepper oil (if desired).
9. Add tomato sauce. Stir through. Return to boil.
10. Lower heat to low. Cover skillet. Continue cooking for 30 minutes or until sauce thickens.
11. Add cinammon sugar. Stir through. Recover and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
12. Stir through and serve in bowls. Top with shredded cheddar cheese (as desired).
13. Enjoy!
