15 Bean Soup

Ingredients
1 20 oz. pkg dry 15 bean mix1 cup onion, chopped1 15 oz. diced tomatoes, plain or with chiles1 tsp. chili powderjuice of one lemon1-2 minced garlic cloves1 tblsp. Wrights liquid smoke
Directions
Makes 8 1 cup servings

Wash beans and put in a 2 quart pyrex mixing bowl. Cover with water up to the 2 quart line. Heat in microwave for 15 minutes and let stand for 15 minutes. Pour off water and rinse the beans. Place in crockpot and add 2 quarts of water. Turn temperature setting to high and let the beans cook covered all day.
