6 slices bacon1 cup chopped onion (1 small)1 clove garlic, minced1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans1 (16 ounce) can great northern beans1 (16 ounce) can baked beans1 (16 ounce) can red kidney beans1 (15 ounce) can garbonzo beans2 tbsp. BBQ sauce2 tbsp. honey2/3 cup packed brown sugar2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce1 tbsp. yellow mustard1/2 teaspoon pepper
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings, crumble, and set aside in a large bowl.
3. Cook the onion and garli in the reserved drippings until onion is tender; drain excess grease and transfer to bowl with bacon.
4. To the bacon, onions, and garlic add pinto beans, northern beans, baked beans, kidney beans, and garbonzo beans. Stir in BBQ sauce, honey, brown sugar, and worcestershire sauce, mustard, and black pepper. Mix well and tranfer to a 9x12 casserole dish.
5. Cover and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Or you can cook in crock pot for 6 hours on low, last 2 hours uncovered.
Makes 10 1 cup servings.

this was absoloutly delicious !! I used the assortment of beans,but bought bagged beans and soakedthem overnight boiloed in the morning...also used 1tbsp honey +1 tbsp molasses. My oldest son(35) who hates beans loved these he took a few bites to be polite, and quickly asked for more !!! - 5/2/10
