Ingredients
1.0 cup Brown Rice, medium grain1.0 cup Lentils1.0 cup, chopped Peppers, sweet, red, fresh0.75 cup, chopped Onions, raw0.25 cup dry Oatmeal (plain)1.0 cup, chopped Carrots, raw1.0 small Sweet potato, cooked, baked in skin, without salt3.0 tsp Mrs. Dash (R) Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend3.0 tsp Mrs. Dash (R) Original Blend1.0 tsp Garlic powder4.0 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap1.0 serving(s) potatoes dehydrated plain
Directions
Bring water to a boil. Add rice and lentils, cook on low 40 minutes, check to make sure water does not dry out, add 1/2 more to keep moist. Add remaining ingredients after rice and lentils are cooked. Mix well. Let mixture cool until it can be safely handled. Form 10 burgers. You can fry them in a non stick skillet with a little olive oil spray one or two at a time then cool and freeze if you are not going to eat them immediately. They freeze nicely.
